Please note that this is a temporary, outdoor ice rink subject to varying weather and ground conditions. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
I want to book a ticket online will it get to me in time?
The tickets are instant E-tickets and are sent to your email address. Download the ticket (PDF attachment) and print.
I don’t have a printer, what shall I do?
Please take your booking reference number to the Ice Rink and a member of the Box Office team can look up your booking on the system.
Can I purchase tickets on the door?
Although we do advise booking in advance, tickets can be purchased at the entrance of the Ice Rink (subject to availability).
I have purchased a ticket online but have not received my email confirmation, what shall I do?
Firstly please check your spam folder – your E-ticket may have fallen into it.
If your ticket is not in your spam folder please take your booking reference number to the Ice Rink and a member of the Box Office team can look up your booking on the system.
If you have no booking reference number please still go to the Ice Rink where member of the Box Office team can look up your booking on the system, please take the payment card you booked with.
When should I get there?
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your skating session to allow for skate fitting etc.
At what age can I bring my children?
There is no minimum age for children.
Minimum skate size: Children’s size 8
We also have a limited number of bob skates, which have a double blade and strap to a young child's shoe. If you would like these please request them at the rink, they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
We advise parents to use their discretion as to whether the child will enjoy the experience if they are very young.
I’ve got big feet! Do you have boots to fit me?
The maximum skate size: Adult size 13
Can I bring my own skates?
Yes you can. Although we reserve the right not to allow a person to use their own skates if we decide that they are not suitable.
What if it is raining?
You will get wet! The rink can operate in nearly all weather conditions. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing. This is an outdoor event and no refunds will be given due to inclement weather. In the unlikely event that the Duty manager deems it necessary to close the ice rink, alternative sessions will be offered for skating, subject to availability.

What do I do with my bags, coats etc when I am skating?
A cloakroom is available in the skate change area (extra charge of £1 per item).
Do I have to pay to spectate or go into the café?
All the viewing areas and café are free to access. So come along and watch your friends and family skating and enjoy a warming hot drink and snack.
What if I lose something while I am at the Ice Rink?
All lost property will be kept at the Ice Rink Box Office.
I am a wheelchair user, can I book to skate on the ice?
Wheelchairs are welcome on the ice during any public session excluding the final session of each day (9.00pm - 10.00pm)
ICE SKATING CAN BE HAZARDOUS. ALL PATRONS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY SKATE AT THEIR OWN RISK.
